What is the SIP GX15 Advanced Battery Charger?
The SIP GX15 is the largest charger in the series of GX5, GX10 and GX15 battery chargers, a series of advanced battery charges which have been designed for use with 12v batteries. Compatible with Lead Acid, SLA, AGM, GEL, WET, VRLA, CaCa, EFB and LiFePO4 lithium batteries.
The GX15 charger should only be used on batteries with a capacity of up to a maximum of 300Ah, the other charges in this series do differ.
3 Operating Modes:
1. Power Supply:- when you have this mode selected the charger will supply 12V Power or up to 13.7V. You may also use the device and as a float charge, this can keep some larger batteries at 100% charge, this will work in normal conditions without the limitations of time or voltage.
2. Recondition:- Use for restoring batteries into good condition by using the pulse charging programme to break up sulphate and restore.
3. Test:- Use the test function to test your battery or alternator.
