COVID-19 Shipping Status Update
The World of Power offices, showroom and warehouse are all now reopen after the festive period (socially distanced of course!). The team are currently working hard to dispatch all orders placed over the Christmas period and dispatch any new orders in line with the advertised time on the website. Should you need to speak with the team about an order placed or any other enquiry please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Our current opening times are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, the Buxton showroom will be closed Saturday's during January.
Due to large volumes of pallets and parcels currently going through the courier systems, we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas. With this in mind World of Power will cease dispatch at 3pm on the 21/12/2020, all remaining orders placed after this time will be dispatched in the new year. The office will be closed from 5pm on Tuesday 22nd December, there will be a limited number of staff dealing with customer queries throughout the Christmas period remotely, please email email@example.com and we will endeavor to reply to you as soon as possible, emails will be answered in the order they are received so if you have emailed us please do not email again to chase a response. The Buxton showroom will be closed from 5pm on Tuesday 22nd December 2020 until Monday 4th January 2021 when normal opening hours will resume.
Although children may be back at school and we have all staff back working within the business, unfortunately things are not quite back to 'normal' for UK businesses. As of Wedneday 2nd December 2020 the UK moved from lockdown 2.0 into the tiered system which carries its own restrictions; World of Power will continue to operate as normal (the new normal). The World of Power team are working hard to ensure that all website orders are confirmed and dispatched promptly. Our Buxton showroom is open for counter service ONLY Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-1pm, we recommend using the click and collect facility on our website so the World of Power warehouse team are able to have your goods ready to collect. Our team will process any click and collect orders and call you when the goods are ready for collection, please await the call BEFORE you come to our showroom.
Courier company's across the UK are reporting large numbers of parcels and pallets going through their networks which unfortunately can cause delays with deliveries which is beyond our control. Whilst parcels and pallets will be dispatched from our warehouse within the stated times there may be slight delays with the delivery of orders whilst the courier networks work tirelessly to ensure deliveries are with customers as quickly as possible. Whilst at the moment there is not a large number of affected deliveries this may change over the coming weeks. Once goods have left our warehouse we cannot be held responsible for delays within the delivery network as they are beyond our control. We have had assurances from the APC courier network, Parcel Force and Nationwide Express Pallets (NEP) that they are doing all they possibly can to ensure deliveries arrive on time. Tracking information will be sent via email so you can keep up to date with your parcel / pallet delivery.
For those unable to accept deliveries during working hours in the week, we now offer a Saturday delivery service.
We strongly recommend that you order goods in plenty of time prior to goods being needed to ensure any delivery delays do not affect your needs.

Christmas Opening Hours
With Christmas right around the corner many are ordering goods online for delivery in time for Christmas.
The last date for any orders with all products showing as 'In Stock' will be the 22nd December and will need to be ordered on a next day delivery basis. Any orders placed with 1-3 days delivery OR 4-6 days delivery lead times will not then be delivered until the new year.
World of Power will be Closed from the 24th Dec to the 4th January, this includes both the offices and the showroom.
During this time we will have a limited amount of staff responding to email enquiries, should you need to contact us during these dates please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will endeavor to reply to you as soon as possible.
Whilst online orders can still be placed for delivery in the New Year, orders placed within the closed period will not be processed until the office reopens but payment will be taken at the point of order. Our office will resume normal opening hours on Monday 4th January 20201, at which time we will process orders, dispatch orders and answer any outstanding email enquiries as quickly as possible.
It has been a very strange and difficult year for many, as a business we have decided this year to close to allow staff to spend the holidays with their immediate families.
