Smooth and reliable performance from the SIP 1 Metre Wood Lathe starter kit. Provided by a heavy duty 375w 1/2 hp induction motor. Twin bed bars for added stability - the additional bed section is detachable for use in a confined space. The extension bars are detachable and the common spindle thread of 3/4 x 16TPI. This lathe comes supplied with 3 turning tools, tools rest, drive centre live tailstock centre and faceplated, also supplied with 3 chisels.
SIP lathes are suitable for both types of turning, spindle and faceplate's, to produce a wide range of objects including furniture legs, staircase spindles, pens bowls ect.
