Fitted with an easily accessible 20 amp fuse for quick changing and a charge protection thermostat with automatic reset, both the operator and battery are protected from malfunctions whilst charging. Designed with a 250 amp boosting facility, the unit is powered by the 230v supply and has a maximum charging current of 35 amperes with a maximum start current of 250 amps. Featuring a dual output voltage of 12v and 24v dc, the unit has a maximum battery capacity of 72Ah.

The unit is fitted with an ammeter that accurately displays the current reading and heavy duty charge leads and crocodile clips that firmly grip the terminal points. Constructed from a tough steel casing that affords the user and charger-inners complete protection, the transformer incorporates full thermal, short circuit and start overload protection for additional reliability and safety. The duty cycle of the unit is an intermittent five seconds on/one minute off. Fitted with a carrying handle for increased portability, the battery charger weighs 14kg and has packed dimensions of 300 x 300 x 360mm. Protection class IP21.
