Good for the job.
I am using it for over year no. I am doing woodworking as a hobby and for that money it made my work place much cleaner.
The original hose is little bit to stiff to swapping around the tools. But when you upgrade for flexible one and using with size reduction the suction can drag it across garage, so make sure is secured.
After year using i didn't had any issue with it. Highly recommended.

SIP 01929 50 Litre Dust & Chip Collector
Ordered this yesterday 23 Dec 2014 10:35:30 GMT recieved it this morning,thats fast especially at this time of the year, it`s very powerful ,mind even though dust collector is in the description the instruction book supplied with it states that it isn`t for collecting dust never mind though it is going to be a huge improvement on the hoover i`ve been using,i will definitely be shopping with sip again.
