SIP 08925 Petrol Pressure Washer
Designed for cleaning larger open spaces where no electrical supply is available, this SIP pressure washer has a space saving folding frame which is ideal for storage and transport mounted on large pneumatic tyres for quick and easy movement to where it is required. Ideal for a range of demanding cleaning applications, including in contractor and agriculture environments it connect directly to mains water.
Designed with a heavy duty powerful 6.5hp petrol engine which features low oil protection and a brass-headed in-line Triplex crankshaft pump offering excellent durability.
Delivering 750 litres/hour maximum flow rate it comes complete with a 10 metre heavy duty hose and 5 interchangeable spray nozzles allowing this pressure washer to be adjusted to the task in hand, simply choose the correct nozzle from the integrated storage rack.
Please note other SIP accessories are not compatible with this model and it does not come with a supply hose.
Needing a reliable and mobile machine for my business, I trawled the net high and low, to find the right model for myself .., and eventually chose the Tempest TP 750/190.
I've owned the machine for a month now and have to say, I'm very impressed! Firstly it is lighter than previous pressure washers and folds down easily, allowing me to pop it in and out my van without a problem.
It starts within a couple of pulls, doesn't need the choke and is very quiet. You have a choice of 5 easy push fit nozzles, I use the 25 degree one - and they don't vibrate out of the machine, unlike other makes! The 10m hose seems sturdy and although the lance doesn't look heavy duty, it certainly does the job. As for the pressure rating, I'd rate it as excellent - there's not many jobs it won't do and I have it turned down to 3/4 (140 bar) and that is more than sufficient.
I don't bother with the lance /hose holder but if you do, stick another couple of plastic washers when putting it on, as without them and when folding it down, the bars just very slightly catch one another!
As for the engine, Kohler make the Lombardini diesel engines, so that's good enough for me and at 6.5hp, you've got plenty of it. The pump seems good but only time will tell on that one and likewise with the quad core cleaner.
I've given mine a light coat of oil before using it and when it's sat there in the sun, gleaming, you can tell it's American made. A neat looking machine, that can handle regular use, has a meaty little bull bar protecting the engine and comes with a 2/3 warranty.
If I had to be critical, I'd ask for solid rubber tyres next time :) but overall, I'm very impressed - a quality machine that I would definitely recommend!
I'll pop back here in another 6 months and update..

HOW DO I RETURN AN UNWANTED ITEM?
Unwanted items can be returned within 14 days of receip without reason, returns outside of this time must be discussed and agreed with [email protected] Items must be returned unused and in the original condition.
Please email [email protected] with your order information detailing the item/s you wish to return and our team will come back to you with a returns number and address to send the goods to.
Where possible please DO NOT stick labels to the original packaging, please wrap the item in a protective layer BEFORE sticking any returns label to the box. Please ensure your product is packed sufficiently well to ensure it is not damaged in transit. We recommend returning goods using a tracked courier service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost / damaged in transit to ourselves. All products will be checked in our warehouse on return and refunds are usually processed within 7 days of receipt. If you require alternative goods you should place a new order online via the website.
